SIMPLISTIC STYLE

String bracelets - beaded, braided, layered, adorned, etc. These simple bracelets seem to be everywhere and on everyone'es wrist. I'm forced to believe there's a very logical reason we girls favor these simple bracelets...maybe some subconscious glimpse of our easy breezy childhood when we gave these to our most cherished girlfriends.

When I decided to design my own "string bracelet" I wanted to make something a bit dressier and a bit more unusual than what we typically see - What better way then to add some gold (of course) and a natural stone. It's perfect for layering or to be worn alone.

Gold & Silk String Bracelet

FLORAL INSPIRED

It should come as no surprise that I'm most definitely a fan of all things girly. Lately, I've been in love with this floral inspired vintage look. There's something so whimsical, dainty and even a bit earthy about this style. Don't get me wrong, I love jeans and a tee shirt just as much as anyone but sometimes it feels good to be dressed in such a feminine way.

My most recent shopping splurge (and floral addition) is below. I just loved the texture and femininity of my new blouse.

AND these are my latest earring creations, inspired by a flower petal (of course). I like to think of it as a play on the classic hoop earring.

Gold & Turquoise Petal Earrings

(16k gold filled earring hooks. 14k gold filled chain. Turquoise teardrop stones. Gold plated petal hoop)
Length: Approx 4"

SHAPE IT UP

So much of what I wear are solids - solid blouse, solid dress, solid pants, etc. The appealing thing about solids is that they're safe and subtle. This spring, I'm starting to see a lot of geometric patterns and designs which  I'm greatly hoping to add to my closet. There's something retro but also modern about this look - kind of a Brady Bunch meets the Jetsons.

This plethora of shapes inspired me to make a pair of geometric earrings that's both playful and eye catching.

Geometric Earrings

(16k gold filled hammered shapes, Blue faceted agate stones, 16k gold filled earring hooks)

RING AROUND THE ROSIE

The hands - It's one of the first things I notice when I meet someone. It's such an important feature (on both men and women) which is probably why us girls spend so much time going to nail salons and obsessing over different OPI and Essie colors. When choosing a ring to buy, I usually lean towards natural stone rings being that they are almost always unique and one of a kind - since no two stones are alike.

My obsession with rings has lead me to create a collection of natural stone rings to add to my jewelry line -  I'm happy to announce that the rings are finally available!

All rings bands are hammered 14k gold plated and sizable to fit all. I absolutely LOVE druzy stones for their  sparkling texture. I'm also a big fan of large stone rings that go from knuckle to knuckle.

THE LOOK OF LEATHER

Lovely, timeless leather - we really must pay tribute to this beautiful material. Where would our wardrobes be without it? The texture, the look, the feel, the versatility, the quality...there's nothing else like it.

There is such a rich, luxuriousness to leather (in all of its forms) so I was inspired to create a brass and leather cuff using genuine deerskin leather.

I love how the color of the leather really popped against the brass cuff.
(2 inch wide brass cuff.   14k gold filled chain. Available in turquoise or dark brown dyed genuine deerskin leather)

Price: $42

GOOD LUCK & GOOD STYLE

Spiritually, I am a believer in karma, luck and even a bit of serendipity.

Fashionably, I am a believer in simplicity: There is no better outfit than skinny jeans, a basic shirt and some heels.

The hamsa hand is a popular symbol for magical protection, and is one of the most popular amulets for good luck and prosperity. The word "Hamsa" means "5" and refers to the five fingers. The number 5 is a powerful number and symbolizes defense, power and fortune. The hamsa hand is a lucky ancient amulet. There are no rules where to hang a hamsa so what better place then on some 14k gold around your neck - A perfect simple addition to a beautifully simple outfit!

I love pairing this necklace with a long pendant necklace for that look of layering.
(20 inch 14k gold filled chain.   16k gold filled hasma charm)
